With 2025 underway we thought we’d make a post dedicated to our aims and objectives for the year ahead! 2024 was such an exciting year for us, we want to keep that momentum going!
2024 brought us some core achievements such as:
Mentoring:
82 mentoring sessions provided
8 young people volunteered with us
Counselling:
Provided 90 young people with counselling (roughly 670 sessions)
1x 6-week trauma-informed parenting workshop
Launched new student placement programme with 1 student
Food:
40 meal boxes delivered
200 people support per week on average
Mince pie cooking workshop with families
Events:

We’re hoping to continue to grow and expand our three vital core services: 1:1 youth mentoring, counselling, and food support services. Our specific goals include:
Mentoring:
Provide 240 mentoring sessions
Provide more volunteering roles for young people
Continue to look into partnerships with additional mentoring organisations in
different geographies
Counselling:
Provide 857 counselling sessions (average of 100 young people)
2x Trauma-informed parenting workshops
Student placement programme expand to three students
Food provision:
2x cooking workshops
Support around 200 people per week with food
Other 2025 goals:
In 2024, we established a strong partnership with Page Community Association. Through this collaboration, the young people we support, along with their mentor, have volunteered their time to assist with building renovations. In return, Page Community Association granted us access to their unused, overgrown garden space, where our young people have been working to clear and transform the area into a peaceful garden. With this, we aim to:
- Host 4x volunteer clear up days
- Finished full clear up
- Start laying gardening beds
- Include local schools in mural design and planting
2025 Events:
Last year, we hosted our very first community fun day! We wanted to give our young people the chance to be apart of an event they helped organise and run. 10 young people took part in the event, contributing in various ways - from running stalls and organising raffles to promoting the event and more. For example, some showcased and sold their woodwork while engaging with the community. It was a fantastic day, and we successfully raised £4,000! This year, we aim to:
- Host another Community Fun Day
- Expand on fundraiser challenges
- Host 3x fundraiser events

2025 trips:
In 2024, we managed to provide multiple day trips for our young people who weren’t in mainstream education. Some of our day trips included things like Zoo trips, Go Ape and many more! It’s important we continue to provide these opportunities for young people as it gives them a safe, social space to experience joy with their mentors and other young people.
