How You Can
Get Involved

Our Beliefs

Donate

Your generous donation will help us provide a better start in life for vulnerable young people. Ignite is run solely on donations, fundraisers and grants. Your continued support has a huge positive impact on the lives of many.

Your donation, whether big or small, will go a long way.

£20 can provide 2 families with food for a week and £25 provides 1 hour of counselling to a young person

Volunteer

Volunteering is hugely important for Ignite to continue supporting our community.

There are many different volunteer opportunities available. If you would like to support us more behind the scenes, you can get involved with:

  • Social media content creation
  • Campaigning
  • Research and grant bid writing
  • Researching new support services that we can signpost people to

If you have more consistent time to give you can get involved with:

  • Food bank shop assistant
  • Food parcel delivery driver
  • Ignite general admin and assistant work

Our Beliefs

Fundraise

Fundraising not only helps to raise money for Ignite so we can continue to support those most vulnerable in our community, but it also raises awareness of the inequalities people are facing and the support available to them.

You can get involved with fundraising by completing a challenge and choosing Ignite to raise money for, such as:

  • Sponsored walk, run or cycle
  • Bake sale or dinner party
  • Skydive
  • Pub quiz

Get in touch with us if you would like some more ideas on how you can creatively fundraise for us!

Corporate Partnerships

For companies

Does your company operate a charity of the year?

By choosing to support Ignite Life for a year, you can make a real difference to those in need.

There are many ways that your company can partner with us and help to provide vital services to disadvantaged young people. Please get in touch via the link below to discuss tailored partnership options.

For employees

Payroll giving is a tax-efficient and easy way of donating to us. Your donation is taken from your gross salary before tax is deducted, meaning that you donate more for less. Ask your employer to see whether you have a payroll giving scheme in place.
